I have several MSA 2040 SANs, and I need to check if they are still under support so I can request it if necessary. The issue is that, based on what I've found, I should be able to obtain the serial number using these commands through an SSH connection. However, when I enter the numbers I retrieve into the HPE Support Platform, it says they are not valid serial numbers.
I am using these three commands:
- show system
- show configuration
- show enclosures
The web GUI also doesn't display any serial number information.
Could anyone please let me know how to obtain the serial number remotely?
