Today I am facing a problem where my customer's server with the model as mentioned in the subject above, cannot connect to the MSA 2060 storage.
I mean, the Volume that I created on the MSA 2060 storage and I attached to the server, does not appear on the OS side (the current OS version is Oracle Linux 5.8).
I have checked the SPOCK website, on the website it is stated that the new MSA 2060 will be compatible with Oracle Linux 7 Update 8 or 9.
However, what confuses me is that the old MSA 2040 is actually only compatible with Oracle Linux 6. But why can the volumes on it be mapped and read on the OS Oracle Linux 5.8.
Do I need to downgrade the firmware version on the MSA 2060 storage side, both for the controller and the hard disk, so that it can be read on the OS Oracle Linux 5.8 side?
